Speed to power for batteries

For BESS with a hybrid connection (consumption + feed-in) both grades matter. The best locations often have a D/E on one direction and an A/B on the other — the spread is where congestion-management revenue lives.

How to read the map

  1. 1Open the map, look at both directions in turn (toggle Consumption/Feed-in).
  2. 2Areas with opposite extremes — F afname / A opwek (or vice versa) — are your shortlist.
  3. 3Open each candidate, check the planned reinforcement timing.
  4. 4Use the Workbench to estimate the 12-month revenue stack per substation.
